Examination Information amid COVID-19
CPAC shares your concerns about COVID-19. This rapidly changing situation has created several challenges to administering code qualification examinations to ensure members are able to obtain any necessary Canadian code credentials for employment in the Oil and Gas pipeline sector.
Following the release of modified CPAC policy guidance on February 28, 2022, CPAC updated its policy to require a minimum 2m (6’) spacing between writers at public examination events.
Level 1 & 2 examinations can be written remotely (online) or in person. Level 3 & 4 examinations require in person supervision to maintain the integrity of credentials used for assignment of work requiring little or no supervision.
Our contractors will continue to monitor and evaluate this fluid situation and provide updates on rescheduled public style examinations as they become available.
Please be assured that all reasonable measures are being implemented to assure the health and safety of those individuals writing code qualification examinations.
