Red Seal Certificates:
Applicants for a Canadian Credential, who are in possession of a current companion* US credential, will be issued a Red Seal Certification upon successful completion of the examination. Applicants for US credentials, who are in possession of a current Canadian qualification will be issued a Red Seal Certification upon successful completion of the examination.
Red Seal Certification acknowledges code qualification for both Canadian and US jurisdictions.
*Note: Not all designations are currently available under the US system.
Examinations are scheduled by appointment. Please choose the available date for your location.
Once all appointments for an available date are booked, a new date will be added.
Once you have chosen a date you will be contacted within 72 hours to confirm a time and location.
Immediately following submission of this form, you will receive an email confirming your exam registration.
Upon confirmation of your payment, you will receive a second email confirming the date, location and time for writing your exam. This notice is typically issued within 2 business days.
If you have chosen Edmonton by Appointment, you will be issued a list of available times and dates within 2 business days. The available dates will be within a 3 week range. ‘By Appointment’ examinations are held at the CPAC offices. Writers are provided a private room to write the exam.
