Red Seal Certificates: Level 4 Certification* is issued based on the Jurisdiction of the Level 3 credential. Applicants in possession of a valid Level 3 Red Seal Certificate will be issued a Level 4 Red Seal for their Subject Matter Expertise. Both Canadian and US Level 4 examinations are the same. *Note: Not all designations are currently available under the US system.
Examinations are scheduled by appointment. Please choose the available date for your location. Once all appointments for an available date are booked, a new date will be added. Once you have chosen a date you will be contacted within 72 hours to confirm a time and location.
Immediately following submission of this form, you will receive an email confirming your exam registration.
Upon confirmation of your payment, you will receive a second email confirming the date, location and time for writing your exam. This notice is typically issued within 2 business days.
If you have chosen the ‘Edmonton by Appointment’ option, you will receive a list of dates when examinations are being offered at the CPA Council offices in Edmonton. You should receive this list within 2 to 5 days of your registration. Writers are provided a private or semi-private room to write the exam. These dates are typically offered at 20 to 30 day intervals between publicly scheduled exam sessions.
