Special Programs

From time to time the Canadian Pipeliner Accreditation Council may offer programs to support the Accreditation, Qualification and Certification of organizations and their personnel. When available, any special programs being offered will be listed below.

Can you Make the Grade Program

To encourage trained and experienced pipeliners to validate and verify their qualifications, the Canadian Pipeliner Accreditation Council is making the following challenge to any pipeliner who feels they “Can Make the Grade”.

Register and write any of the Code Qualification examinations offered by CPAC in 2020.
If you are unsuccessful in your first attempt at the examination you will receive an assessment of weak areas and be permitted to rewrite within 1 year at no additional cost. Where appropriate, study and training recommendations will be provided. Recognized training organizations for many topics and course of study are identified in all CPAC exam syllabuses.

Red Seal Program

The choice of 1169 certificates to be used in a company competence program are at the discretion of the Company, and accordingly, many pipeline Inspectors carry both Canadian and US credentials.

CPA Council offers a Red Seal Certificate as easy identification for any pipeline inspector who holds qualification to both Canadian and US requirements. There is no cost to members requesting this document.

To request this upgrade, member inspectors need only send a copy of their US credential to certification@CPACouncil.com
